Error when trying to get to admin log on page

I finally moved my site from my test server to my host server. Took a few trys but I got the website to come up fine and all my products and categories are there. One problem. When i type in the address to get to the admin page I get an error. The tab says "500 Internal Server Error". The Page has the following text:
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

I checked the error log and I'm not sure it has anything to do with this. It said something about the usps module.

I did change the name of my admin folder and I didn't overwrite the two configure.php files when I uploaded my files off my computer. I also change the name of the admin folder in the three places indicated on the set up instructions. Any ideas? What am I missing?

I followed the direction in the first link, although admittedly i might have done a couple steps out of order. But I reviewed the instructions and I'm pretty sure I did each step. I made sure I changed the name of the admin folder in the 3 places on the admin/includes/configure.php file. And I used the cached fix. I've contacted my host server's support team to look into the 500 error, but so far it hasn't helped much. They said it doesn't look like I installed zen cart, but I'm sure I went through that process. Plus, my site comes up an is fully functional. I just can't access the admin panel. I was wondering would it be helpful to run the zc_install again, or would that just mess things up?

Well I was playing around with some of the setting in the configure.php files and I think I fixed it. I guess my host server uses "real directory" paths. I'm not too sure what that is, but instead of using the http://www.domain.com.... they use something else that starts with /hermes/.....Not sure it that is specific to these guys or that is how it would look no matter who you use. But anyways, I think I've fixed the issue.
