How to use ezpages/categories as dropdown menu in the header?

I know it's been discussed many times, I just don't see a complete thread, some addon although works for some people but are really error-prone due to whatever reason.

Can someone list 1-2-3 steps on how to use categories as well as ezpages to create a header that has dropdown menu?

I found this addon very attractive and am testing it, here is the addon: CSS Horizontal Dropdown Menu With jquery

I created a standard zencart with default classic template and:
created two categories and two ezpages

I then applied the addon following the readme.html of the addon.

Now my site looks like this

Where are the other parts of the website?

You are missing a language file for the dropdown mod. You may also be missing some other file, so that a required element is not available. Look in /cache/ for the latest myDebug file to see what the error is.

Good suggestion, however, in the /cache folder there are only 3 files:
.htaccess
index.php
sess_o0lh7m5m2clitu8unpj382cht5

I don't see any other file there, what's wrong with this addon installation?

I have just fixed some minor issue, now the menu looks fine but still no any contents, no side column, no footer, just empty, what is causing this crash? Thanks.
