Tools > Send Email - Are customers BCC'ed and is there a limit to number of recipient

Hi,

I have tested the Admin > Tools > Send Email tool to send an email to myself and it worked. But if I want to send an email to All Cutomers, will they be BCC'ed (not be able to see each others email addresses on the email when they recieve it)? Also is there a limit to the number of customers that will recieve the email at once (I have a few thousand to send it to - can these all be sent at once?)

Nobody is BCC'd.
Everyone is sent a personalized individual email. There's only one recipient per email.
The only limit is based on what your webserver or hosting account imposes on you or the time it takes to do the processing vs any limits the server has on maximum execution length.
