Disable side columns for home page..

Hi, and i'm sorry if this info is posted anywhere else. Couldn't find precisely what i'm after, so here goes..

I'm using Zen 1.3.9h

and my store is - http://www.buybenchmark.co.uk/store

I basically want to remove left and right columns from home page (right has already been disabled), leaving only the centre column. From then on in, i'd like the left column only to appear, ie when browsing product listings or product pages.

If anyone can give any pointers it would be much appreciated.
