    red flag Order confirmation emails not arriving when using Japanese

    I am also having same problem with my additional Japanese language package on 1.3.9 Version. It doesn't send E-mail confirmation messages to both customer and Store. Though, I can handle order on Admin order tab without missing. But it works fine with English language on the same platform. Please let me overcome this problem with your precise knowledge. Thank you.

    Thanks Sensei. I have en and ja folders with respective email php temp files inside email parent folder already there. I am trying to check process- permissions by my FTP server to execute these files while customer handles order checkout. Could it be one cause of this problem?

    Permissions on the files in the /email/ folder are nothing special. The normal permissions assigned by your webserver are typically acceptable. The same permissions as you have on all your PHP files in your /includes/languages/ folder should be acceptable for permissions to set on your /email/ folder.

    Yes it is true. I have done many tests but failed to forward order confirmation email to customer and store. Beside it, other forwarding emails like, welcome, contacts are working well on Japanese platform too. If I need other testings, regional tab settings, concern "email_template_checkout.html" or "functions_email.php" files alteration, and any other configurations, I hope your information will help me to overcome this problem.

    Wishing you a happy new year 2012.

    It works. I changed mail option configuration into "send-mail" since I have joined in Linux server. Now it has started to forward order confirmation email to customer.
    I have bought 2nd edition digital portable document format Zen Cart Manual from online store. It has no such comprehensive solutions. Is there update opportunity provided by publisher? Thanks for guiding to overcome trouble.
