Another update.........I got the product quanity to stop appearing.
The show prduct quantity option in the product listing area had no effect but if you go to Admin, Catalog, Product Type, Product - General and edit layout. Turn off quantity in stock and model. That should do it for you.
Hope this is helping people.........sorry for the posts in a row.

    ZC1.5

Can't get v_categories_name_2 to show up on my site using this add-on.
I used a Tab Delimited spreadsheet as a template.
    Added 1 product.
Cat 1 is Apparel, Cat 2 is hoodies
Saved as a Comma Delimited Text CSV (Open Office)
    Uploaded the file
    Inserted the file

The product shows up under the main category but the new sub0cat (hoodies) does nor show up in the Categories Menu.
    seriousoffroadproducts . com
Mouse over the "Apparel" heading in the categories menu and you'll see the Teeshirt sub-cat.
Click on the "Apparel" heading in the categories menu and the hoodie pops up.

Thought I had this figured out....but apparently not.

    Anyone?

    Serious,

You need to read the first post of this thread. EP4 is NOT that same as 1.2.5.4. Namely:

    3) Categories are handled differently from other versions of EP. You can now import mult-lingual categories (Like Products Names, etc.).
To achieve this, each v_categories_names_1, v_categories_names_2, ... correspond to a language installed in your system, and individual category names are separated by the Carat "^" symbol. For Example: Bar Supplies^Glass Washers^Brushes

I saw that Chadd and I did add the ^ symbol, but apparently not in the right place.

I realize tht EP is different from the version I was using (1.2.5.4) and am stuck on how my spread sheet should look. I still have the following column headings:
    v_products_model v_products_image v_products_name_1 v_products_description_1 v_products_url_1 v_specials_price v_specials_date_avail v_specials_expires_date v_products_price v_products_shipping_code v_date_avail v_date_added v_products_quantity v_manufacturers_name v_categories_name_1 v_categories_name_2 v_categories_name_3 v_categories_name_4 v_categories_name_5 v_categories_name_6 v_categories_name_7 v_tax_class_title v_status EOREOR

You will need to concatenate your category names into one column "v_categories_name_1".
You could also install EP4 on your source site and use that to export the file you need.
