I installed the module correctly, in fact, it seems much more 'flexible and powerful, but with the import file appears to have the same problem
where and how should I enter the category mother and daughter category?

I must only enter these fields:
models, product_name, product categories level 1, level 1 down live2 product categories, price and quantity
I can use a single file with these fields or do I use the full fle that is available in the examples
Are you using the correct form - from a previous response by Chad:
Categories are handled differently from other versions of EP. You can now import mult-lingual categories (Like Products Names, etc.).
To achieve this, each v_categories_names_1, v_categories_names_2 correspond to a language installed in your system, and individual category names are separated by the Carat "^" symbol. For Example: Bar Supplies^Glass Washers^Brushes
If you've not been usikng the new form, review the instructions for other issues.
is clear, but I have the same problem
No category provided for this new product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is clear, but I have the same problem
SKIPPED! - Model: RFC35X99||MODULO FERRO COMPLETO|||||||||32 - No category provided for this new product
why in the demo csv file there are the following fields?
v_categories_name_2
v_categories_name_4
what should I use to enter data
categories1 ^ categories2
From the readme file:
"3) Categories are handled differently from other versions of EP. You can now import multilingual categories (Like Products Names, descriptions, etc.). To achieve this, each v_categories_names_1, v_categories_names_2, etc. correspond to a language installed in your system, ...."
So those are the category names for different languages. Do you not have v_categories_names_1? That will produce an error perhaps. From the readme:
"As of 4.0.17, your lowest defined language (by language id) is needed to when creating categories. In the future I'll change this to the defined default language, but that will take some additional work."
Re your categories, I would not leave spaces between the carat and the text. From the readme:
For Example: Bar Supplies^Glass Washers^Brushes
"Bar Supplies" will be your Top level Category, with "Glass Washers" as a sub-directory, and "Brushes" as a sub-directory of "Glass Washers".
is quite clear, I have the same categories for the 2 languages ... but the error persists
I can not understand ... I always
No category provided for this new product
i attached you the file to working
You appear to have | instead of commas between the data fields, and a comma and | for the field names. These should be commas only. Also, the first occurence of category in your fields list at the top is "v_categories_names" with no language number. The only other language numbers you have are _4 and _5.
Is this based on a download of your existing products?
First! Thanks for trying to help Stan!
Favjola.... what you REALLY need to do is FIRST enter a couple products normally through the zencart admin. Create a couple categories and sub-categories, and if you have more than one language, also be sure to enter the language names of the categories for these additional languages.
Once you have a couple categories and products, do a full export.
You will now have your correct column mappings. Also, be sure to use OpenOffice to export your CSV file and select comma as your field delimiter and the double-quote " as your text delimiter.
You are making this MUCH harder on yourself by doing it any other way.

If the "near" future I hope to wrap up a number of things and be able to clean up and expand the documentation... and finally submit to the zencart team... (sigh)
