In Store pickup limited to some products

Hello. I'm using version 1.3.9 with no addons.

I have searched the forums and am finding similar questions but they don't specifically address what I am trying to do.

I have items that can be picked up in the store or shipped.

I also have items that can ONLY be shipped... not picked up in the store.

The items that can ONLY be shipped are all in specific categories. They are not mixed in with the products that can be either shipped or picked up.

I have the shipping options turned on to "In store pick up" or "shipped".

I don't want the "In store pickup" to show at all on the categories that have to ship.

Can you please tell me how to do that?

THANK YOU!!! I searched and searched (but got a little lost following threads) and couldn't find this. One other note (question) can that code be set up for a "category id" rather than a "product id"?

I will continue looking (I don't want to add the code for all of the products - it will end up being hundreds of them)... but thank you for the lead...
