SQL error when trying to install the captcha_verification_antirobot_registration_1.4

When trying to run an sql patch in the admina rea, I got this error:

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Version 1.3, which was the base code used for v1.4. SELECT @sortorder:=max(sort_' at line 1 in: [Version 1.3, which was the base code used for v1.4. SELECT @sortorder:=max(sort_order) FROM zen_configuration_group;] If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

How do I address this?

I was trying to install the captcha_verification_antirobot_registration_1.4_for_zc_v1.5.0 in zencart 1.3.9h. I am currently working it on my local computer and soon to upload so cant provide the url. Is it possible for me to test the captcha even if my site is not live yet? Sorry for that noob question, just want to know.

I know just enough to get myself in trouble but when I pasted the code, one of the first "Comment" lines didn't have the # symbol as the first character on the line.

I inserted a # symbol on that line, no longer received the error and CAPTCHA is functioning as described.
