Zone Table Rate doesn't work - display yellow

presently using: v1.3.9h

Installed zone table rate. Setup four zones.
The Red-Green-Yellow-"status light" glows only yellow. And the system adds nothing to the shipping estimator.

Product weights have been set. Following is the setup data.

You need to start with Zone 1 and not skip it ...

Next, you cannot make up zones, you have to use the actual ISO codes for the countries:

Zone 1 Countries
Comma separated list of two character ISO country codes that are part of Zone 1.
Set as 00 to indicate all two character ISO country codes that are not specifically defined.

From what you are showing, you may want the Free Software Add On for Zone Tables where you can build specific Zone Definitions to be used ...

I have been using zone tables rather than specific zones. The reason is that I also have to charge NJ state taxes, and need to ship seperately to Alaska and Hawaii. States seem not to be part of zones.

I was able to download the mod you suggested and it works well.

Set the number of zones in the file zones.php to 4

Created 4 zones
1) Alaska and Hawaii slow Freight ($75 set in table) US + 2 States, Alaska, Hawaii; tax rate 0

2) Alaska and Hawaii Fast Freight ($185 set in table) US + 2 States, Alaska, Hawaii; tax rate 0

3) New Jersey, Freight ($35 set in table) US + 1 State, New Jersey; tax rate 8

4) Lower 48+DC Freight ($35 set in table) US + 53 States All show correctly (Alabama-South Dakota) tax rate 0

Set the sort order to 4123

All of the zones show as green

But the Shipping module; (Which show enable true) still glows yellow.

Is it possible to do what I want to, or am I missing it altogether.

The yellow icon means two things ... either there is something to correct or you have set a Zone on the shipping module that is filtering its usage based on the shipping address ... so it does not mean anything is necessarily wrong if you have a Zone set on it ...

The Zone Table Rate seems to be working (and still glowing yellow). BUT it is NOT doing what it seems like it should do.

There are four zones All in the US:

1. Lower 48
2. Alaska & Hawaii - Ground ship
3. Alaska & Hawaii - Air ship
4. New Jersey - Store location so taxable

I would expect that if the shipping estimator would offer United States as the only "Country"option and that the next field "State/Province" would show only my four defined zones.

In fact all 200+ countries and then all appropriate states/provinces are displayed./

If you select US/Alaska it will go to the higher cost shipping. There will be no mention of the ground rate shipping.

Is there any way can I have only my available options; and all 4 of my available options offered to the customer?

Please notice the two Alaska/Hawaii zones. Is this kosher? Or am I creating a problem with two Zones containing the same two states but with a different definition and different shipping costs?

You, Linda might find it interesting that you are such valuable asset to this community, you have significant celebrity power. It's a little weird to get help from the Oracle. Unfortunately, that is designed for 1 shipping method to run at a time, based on the Zone Definitions ...

So only 1 of your Alaska/Hawaii would run ...

You could remove the Alaska/Hawaii Ground, for example, and install the Table Rate table shipping module and set that to the Alaska/Hawaii Ground ...

Now the two shipping modules would run for Alaska/Hawaii ... then customize your language files as you want them to display for your shipping ...

Or, if you have a set of Ground and a set of Air for everyone, you could clone the Zones Table Rate zonetable and make one for Ground and one for Air ...
