    Default EC with no Paypal Account

    1.3.9h with Express Checkout installed

    Greetings, all.

    I have been trying to test credit card payments for customers without Paypal accounts. All of the following attempts were made with the same card

    1st try - paypal error - blank page with "page not found error" while on Paypal's site.
    2nd try - charge went through fine
    3rd try - refund went through fine
    4th try - Paypal says "use another card"
    5th try - tried again with same card, everything in Paypal looked good and I was returned to my site where a message displayed "Paypal was unable to process payment... (blah, blah)
    6th try - Paypal says "use another card"

    I then went to Paypal forum and found MANY people having the same problem for more than a year with no solutions posted.

    I am in the final testing phase of my site but I do not feel comfortable bringing the site online with this intermittent problem

    Has anyone else had this difficulty and how was it resolved?

    I wouldn't be surprised if PayPal limits the number of transactions you can do per credit card without creating a PayPal account, or at least strongly encouraging you to do that. Contact PayPal for confirmation.

    Errors/problems on the PayPal site itself need to be reported to PayPal directly: www.paypal.com/mts

    Could be related to having already used that card in prior transactions, especially "very recently".

    Without the full complete details of the message, and ideally the logs associated with the attempted transaction, it's impossible to give additional help on this.
