Can I set a Unique ID for each product?

I want add "Unique ID" field for each product and admin only can add. how can i do this?how to do this?

I need to add Unique ID to all products. Using attribute is expensive. i can't create 1000 attributes. is there any other way?

You already have a unique id - it's the product id.

We know that, we want add Apple app store id for each product. because, we have hosted those products in Apple Apps store.

Can you not use the model number for that?
