Adding different quantities for different colours of a product

I have some items on my site that come in different colours and I have different amounts of each colour eg butterfly embellishments, pink 3,
silver 2, black 3 is it possible to show these quantities for each colour rather than the quantity as a whole for the item without adding each item colour as a separate item

There are installation instructions included with the mod. swguy always does a great job, so I'm sure they're complete.
