Manually Add Sales?

Hello,

My client wants to be able to manually add sales into Zen Cart. Mainly so that he reports will be accurate because some of them order over the phone.

Any thoughts, I've searched the forum and can't find this exact solution

I have a user account and enable store pickup. I can shop the store and at checkout not pay for shipping.

Thanks, I think he is really hoping just to be able to input the data through the admin section. Sort of like the "admin add customer" module`

Either way it is not a miracle. He will have to do something. I think it is easiest to to log in add to cart and checkout.

Thanks, does anyone else have any ideas. He needs to enter them under specific customers. The customers are dealers and they can either order online or order by phone, if it is by phone he wants to enter it so the reports will show ALL Sales

The best method of all (IMHO) for 1.3.9# is to install encrypted master password and when Fred from Fraples calls:

1. Hello, Fred. You need some items? What's that e-mail again? (typing follows while you enter the e-mail and YOUR password).
2. Okay, Fred, I see you bought some baubles, bangles, and beads before. Need more of the same?
3. Just baubles? Okay, how many of those.
4. Got it. 36 baubles. Anything else today?
5. ObKb. That gonna be on the credit card Fred?
6. Okay, we got 36 baubles on credit card ending in 1234. You need regular shipping or faster?
7. Okay, your 36 baubles are going out Ground and your card is being charged $3600. You will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly and the system will notify you when they are shipped.
8. Thanks for shopping with us. Have a great day.

We logged in as the customer (you can do this from any computer) and shopped just as if they were shopping. We asked them for their input where needed and completed the sale. All as if it was them making the purchase.
Unless you're on a Commodore with dial-up, it works fast and clean.


If the caller is not a customer, we take the time to register them with a simple password. We go through the process like above with one addition. At the end of everything, we go back to the logon page and enter their e-mail in the forgotten password link. That sends them a new password. Then they can login themselves and change it to "password"


The mod might not work with 1.5.0, but I WILL be checking that out as we really need to have it working for us.

The mod does need a few changes to work with 1.5.0.
