changing sales message with the candy template

Hi, I've been stuck with this problem for a couple of days and I was hoping somebody could help me figure this out.

I'm using the Candy template for my store. And right now I'm trying to change the sales message on the home page. I feel like I've looked at everywhere and done everything to try and change it. But no matter what I do, the sales message always says: "Your text here!!!". What am I doing wrong that could change this? Any help will be great. thank you!
