Default Editing module disabled until Admin is configured for SSL

ALERT: For security reasons, Editing of this module is disabled until your Admin is configured for SSL.

My configure.php is configured to use SSL for store and admin, and both are set to true. I can't edit my payment modules due to this error.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I tried with both old and new configs, same issue.

Do you have an SSL certificate installed?

Yes, the SSL is functioning fine :) I can access by https both store and admin without errors, and showing secure. However, even in admin in https: It tells me I need to configure before editing the authorize.net module.
I also have the configure both chmodded correctly

For your admin to be fully served by SSL, you need to set your HTTP_SERVER define to a https:// URL. Yes, an https URL in the http_server setting.

That is also already done, to no effect. That's why I am stumped. I've upgraded 7 other stores, and this issue only occured on this one.

Interesting. I removed the authorize.net module, then reinstalled, and it's back to working correctly. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Sounds like the file is read-only on the server and your edits aren't successfully uploading when you're changing them.

Hello I have followed this thread and have done everything. I am familiar with ZC for many years. For this hosting account under http://www.colortanktops.com/index02.php, the SSL was installed and working.

The files have been updated the SSL enable is at "TRUE".
    I am using using: v1.5.0.

However, I still see the message: ALERT: For security reasons, Installation of this module is disabled until your Admin is configured for SSL.

I have cleared the cache so many times I cannot count that high.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In your /admin/includes/configure.php file, change your HTTP_SERVER setting to have an https address in it. Ideally you should be able to copy it from the HTTPS_SERVER setting.
