Change the background color of my product list based on price

In a category I have a few different prices ($18.00,$20.00, and $22.00), you can see them here.

Right now I have an alternating color for each row just to break them up a little. I would like to change the background color for each product listing based on the product price.

Example:
$18.00 products have a green background
$20.00 products have a yellow background
$22.00 products have a red background

Any suggestions on how to do this? Can I "prgramattically" code the CSS?

I've seen some differnt posts about changing the font of the price, but I am looking to change the entire product listing if possible.
