Can anyone explain the Free Shipping module?

What I'm trying to do is offer Free Shipping on select parts for a limited time.

There are a few ways to do Free Shipping ...

The most common method is to mark a Product as Always Free Shipping and turn on the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module ...

If ONLY Products marked as Always Free Shipping are in the Cart, the only Shipping Modules to show will be the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper and, if installed the Store Pickup storepickup shipping module ...

If other Products are in the Cart with the Product(s) marked as Always Free Shipping then the weight, item count or price (depending on your shipping methods) of the Product(s) NOT marked as Always Free Shipping will be used ...

A handy thing on the Products marked as Always Free Shipping is if you have a Product for 7lbs that you want as Always Free Shipping for a day, you just need to mark it Always Free Shipping but you do not need to remove the Product Weight ... that will be ignored ...

Then, the next day, when you want it to go back to regular shipping just set the Product Back to:

Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules

You can also set Products with a 0 weight to indicate Free Shipping, if you have configured in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status
If there is no weight to the order, does the order have Free Shipping?
0= no
1= yes

Note: When using Free Shipping, Enable the Free Shipping Module this will only show when shipping is free.
