ERROR: module not loaded due to missing language file

I am getting the following error across the top of my shipping module page. Everything is working fine, but I get concerned when I have an error.

ERROR: module not loaded due to missing language file: [...] /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/uspsold.php

I have searched for a reference to uspsold.php, but cannot find one. I don't seem to have a file with that name.

Should I be concerned?

... if so, rename it to includes/modules/shipping/usps.php.old.

NEVER rename a file and keep the .php extension.

LOL. I hadn't spotted that. Well done Scott for nailing it. Though I'd recommend getting it off your live server completely.

If you need to keep a copy (why? but if ...) don't keep it on your live site. Keep it somewhere else, otherwise over time these files build us and create unforeseen problems. Like this one!

I do NOT have a uspsold.php file. I have also looked in my usps.php file to see if it references a uspsold.php file, which it does not. I have also used the developer tool kit to search for any reference to uspsold anywhere on my site, but not hits. I am baffled.

I just found the file. It was not in the location described in the error message, it was in the shipping module (not in the language folder). I have removed it, and everything is fine now. I will also heed the warning from you both about renaming files differently or removing them completely. Thanks for your help
