    Default image sizing question

    i'd like all images to be the same size. if you wouldn't mind taking a look at the site.... the pic of timothy grass seed is the size i want
    what is the best size is should set everything to in admin/images?

    Most probably I am not understanding your need, however, I would save the image the size I want, and then upload them.

    The absolute SMARTEST thing for you to do is to prepare all your image files to be the exact size you want, on your PC.

    And THEN upload those proper images to your website.

    That makes everything work faster and smarter and more friendly to you and especially for your customers.

    Relying on resizing settings inside Zen Cart is really only something a newbie should be doing, until they get used to setting up proper images on their own.

    Making the webserver do resizing on-the-fly slows down your site, and causes unnecessarily large downloads on EVERY page while your customers are browsing your site. ALL those slowdowns translate into poorer shopping experiences.

    The solution is for YOU to prepare the images YOURSELF properly, and then upload them. THAT is what the forum thread mentioned above is talking about. Hence the suggestion given earlier.
