Downloadable Content

Hi I know how to set up downloadable content with items in the downloads folder but I was wondering if I can have the items elsewhere.

To be more specific I want the products on a diferent server to the shop.

Is this possible? if so how?

At the present time there's no built-in support for hosting downloads on an external server, since there's no way to ensure theft-prevention when the data is stored elsewhere.

ok thanks for the reply, is there no way to do this at all as i can use php for theft prevention, if not I hope they bring this in in future versions, it'l save me loads of cash on web space haha
