Attribute glitch. All products with color attributes displaying ALL colors.

We have not done anything to our site recently except for adding missing images. Today, our website somehow changed the attributes listed for EVERY product with a Color attribute. Now, instead of displaying the proper colors that should be associated with each item, all products with color choices display EVERY color that has ever been entered into the zencart database. Does anyone have any idea how or why this happened? is there a way to delete multiple color attributes at once without deleting all of them?
