Error: Ship To State/Province is required

Hi everyone,

I'm testing my zencart and I'm trying to buy a product with a sample Irish shipping address (only city and country) and my real US billing address.
Under Minimum Values I left State and Zip Code blank.

the following error appears at the final payment step:

"Ship To State/Province is required. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct the information and try again or contact us for further assistance."

As payment module I use Authorize.net AIM and as shipping module Free Shipping Free Shipper.
Using my US address for shipping and billing allowed me to do purchases correctly.

You didn't provide a value for the State field, and Authorize.net rejected the transaction because of it. Zen Cart is merely telling you the error that occurred while trying to authorize the transaction. As you've proven, by supplying *something* as the State field (such as you did when you used your US address instead), and you won't have that error.

Thanks DrByte, I just figured I had to edit the payment module.

For whoever has a similar problem on authorizenet_aim.php I subsitute 'N/A' to every information sent back to Authorize.net such as $order->delivery['state']
