Using Free and Paid Shipping

I currently offer free shipping on all of my products - they are all electronic downloads. Now I'm adding physical products and would like to offer one cost shipping for everything. Is it possible to have free shipping for certain products and a flat rate for others?

For example:

If a customer orders 1 (or 20) items that are downloads, the shipping is free.

If the customer orders any amount of physical products the shipping will be $9.95 (total cost, not per item).

If the customer orders physical products AND downloads, the shipping is $9.95.

I'm hoping I can do this without too much trouble, or completely messing up what I already have set it! :) My site:

Just turn on the Flat Rate flat shipping module and set the rate to 9.95 ... now the Downloads will be Free shipping as they have a download on the Attribute and the regular Products will get the shipping rate of 9.95 ...

NOTE: be sure you have all products set up correctly ...

Download Products should NOT be marked as Virtual or Always Free Shipping, be sure to use:

Product is Virtual: No, Shipping Address Required

Always Free Shipping: No, Normal Shipping Rules
