1.3.9.h general security question

Hello,

I have a client who is running a website with approx 10 mods.

At the moment all the mods (besides 1) aren’t compatible with 1.5.

Thus for now he is stuck with 1.3.9h.

Can anyone confirm for me is 1.3.9h is safe/secure or is it a case of updating and loosing the mods?

The preferred option is to stick at 1.39h for now until the mods are 1.5 compatible.

Could anyone / mods confirm the security status of 1.39h?
Also will 1.3.9h be supported should vulnerability be found or again is it a case of upgrade.

I was told 1.3.9h was secure and should wait until the mods are working before upgrading to 1.5
