template upgrade

I am running zen 1.5x and have a template from 1.3xx. I am wanting information on what it typicality takes to upgrade a template.
I am also looking for some one to do this update. And prices..

Depends. Many templates that were designed for 1.3.9 will work fine with 1.5.0.

Many commercial templates, not so much, and the template designer would be the one to ask about changes.

No I have not purchased it yet. I did contact them and they do not have plans to upgrade it, nor did they say it would already work. So I have not purchased anything yet. the theme I need is a coffee shop.

Most here, including me, will tell you that there's no such thing as a template specific to a coffee shop.

Purchasing templates from Template Monster, Algozone or one of their resellers is not a good idea.

Look here http://(sorry, site offline) and find something that seems to be close to what you're looking for and modify it yourself to get the look you're looking for (and save yourself $150+ in the process).

The only thing that really makes a template a "coffee shop" is the graphics, and if you buy this commercial template, it will look identical to all others who have bought it (for "coffee shops"?).
You would need to replace at least some of the graphics with your own, and then what is the point of having bought it?
Template Monster, who makes a large portion of the commercial templates out there and resells them under various names, makes very slick looking templates, but at the cost of often being hard to modify to your personal needs.
Your best bet may be to use a free template that is compatible with v1.5.0 and acquire good graphics to fit your theme. Buying the rights to professional images will probably not be that expensive and let you have a truly custom template.
