Drawing attention to New Products?

Is there a way to put on or next to a product on both the category page and the product page something like this:

NEW ARRIVAL!

So that when you browse through a category/subcategory page, your eye goes to the new product, this would be especially great for returning customers to see whats new.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but searching "new products" etc. brings up everything products and I can't find anything like this.

when you scroll down the page, you see "New Arrival" in red.

Ok, thank you, it seems to work great, but how do I merge the product_listing.php file of this mod with the product_listing.php file of the column layout grid mod?

It says you have to merge them...?????

It works like it is, but I still want my columns instead of rows.

you don't have to merge them - the only addition to the file is below highlighted in red, just add it to the layout grid mod

$lc_text = product_icons($listing->fields['products_id']) .'<h3 class="itemTitle">

One more question please....I looked at the site in both IE and Mozilla, look at this page here:

Three of the New Products! look like they are bold and the fourth one doesn't ??!!!???

Any clue on that one? This page too:

looks like it bolds the first three and not the rest
