logo and main page pic help

Hello all.

I am trying to learn this zen cart seeing that I am trying to get a pen turning website built. you can find it at houstonpenworks.com

Anyway i just cant seem to get the logo to change. I have sat before this computer for hrs on end and I have look through this site and I have seen some answers but when I try them I just cant get them to work. Not sure if the suggestions are for a different version of zen cart and cpanel. also I have tried to put a image on the front page and all I get is a box with a tiny square in it. Please help me before I lose what little bit I have up top.

You shouldn't use the CPanel File Manager to edit files. Get a good FTP program (many here use Filezilla) and a good text editor (I use Notepad++) and download the files you need to edit to your local computer, make your changes, and upload them back.

The little box with the X in it (in Internet Explorer) is telling you that Zencart can't find that image wherever you're telling it the image is. Where are you placing your custom logo image file ?
