Creating coupons from sql script?

I'd like to create coupons from a script . How can I find the insert/update/delete commands in order to do this ?

You could look at the:
/admin/coupon_admin.php

NOTE: existing coupons are not "deleted" their setting for the field:
coupon_active

is changed so that they are no longer active ...
