I know this has been asked time and time again but to be honest all the mods seem to be out of date, not many people appear to be on 1.5...

Ive tried one of the mods but it ruined my template

What would I need to show the 1st level category and the 2nd level categories expanded on the left hand side category menu, all the time, from when you load the page, click into any of the cats etc, these stay expanded all the time? But only the first 2 levels?

Im on 1.5 and use the estore now template, so would anything work with this setup?
