Footer Customization

I have a rather odd request, however I am sure this can be done but I am stuck as to how to do it.

The first image is the current footer layout.



The second image is how I would like to reconstruct it (side-by-side). Is this doable, and if so, how would I do this? Is there an addon module I could use that will give me this look below?

It should be simple CSS, but we need to see it live to tell you what elements to style.

For space above the footer links:

#navSuppWrapper {padding-top: 1.0em;}

This one would be easy for you to find by yourself with the Firefox Web Developer or Firebug tools. If you are doing this work for paying clients, you should be learning to do it on your own.

I use Stylizer instead of Firebug. I was pressed for time and was working with another mod that was giving me issues...won't ask again. Thanks!
