Default Ok to remove/empty unused sql authorizenet?

I'm making space on my server and don't want to cause problems. I found a file /mysql/DATABASE/authorizenet.MYD that is very large. It is 43mb and the 9th largest file/directory on my server.

I haven't used authorize.net in 2 years. Is it safe to empty this table?

    YOUR POST IS SERIOUSLY ALARMING!!!!

If you have no history in it which you need to keep, then you can truncate the table.

BUT DO NOT EVER delete .MYD files by hand!!!!!!!! Seriously. YOU SHOULD NOT BE MUCKING AROUND IN THAT FOLDER AT ALL!!!!!!!!!
If you're going to delete data associated with a given table, then make a solid reliable backup and truncate the table using phpMyAdmin. DO NOT DELETE MYSQL DATABASE FILES DIRECTLY!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!

10-4. I wouldn't delete any file associated with the database. I know that would be a major FAIL. I just put the path there because I wasn't really sure what I was looking it. Thanks for clearing it up.
