Changed password and cannot access any link after signing in

Hello -
I am new to the shopping cart and have a lot to learn, but appreciate all the instruction on this forum. It's great help! I've not been able to find a solution to my particular problem, however. I am a greenhorn on a time crunch, so please bear with me.

I enabled SSL (from false to true) while working on the Paypal module, as it stated I had to do so. After I did it,however, it stated that I had to change my admin/login password for the shop for security reasons. I did so, and logged in to the admin panel just fine. However, I cannot access any link on the admin panel. I get the 404 error. What have I done wrong?

Did you enable SSL in BOTH configure.php files? Besides includes/configure.php there's also your_admin/includes/configure.php.
