Installing templates

I am new to zen cart. I uploaded and extracted the template into
public_html/includes/templates/burgandy, which burgandy is a new folder I created. After I extracted, then I deleted the zip file. I only have the default classic template showing up. Any help would be apprecieated.

We need more detailed info on what you did. You say you "extracted the template into public_html/includes/templates/burgandy"... did you actually extract all of the template files/folders into that folder? That would be wrong, as most if not all templates already have the full folder structure, and you should extract the content of the zip on your home computer so you can see what is there, then FTP the /includes/ folder that should be in the contents up to the root of your Zen Cart (/publuc_html/). You should not need to make a new folder for the template files. (And "burgandy" is most likely wrong anyway; the correct spelling of the word is "burgundy".)
