Huh. I thought I saw a post by the OP that said they had their own products and categories loaded already. If that is not the case, the "quick reinstall" is indeed the way to go.

That's because there isn't one.

A quick re-install using zc_install/index.php will clean your entire store's database and let you de-select the demo data so you can start with a fresh blank empty store.

I too am looking to remove the DEMO installs as sill Simple Script does NOT give you a choice whether you want or don't want to install them, it just installs them.

Your idea to remove them sounds excellent, I just have a few questions please..

1) Do you use the database details that SimpleScript has created?

Just did it, All good, thanks DrByte for your Sound Advise :)

I used the database details from the SimpleScript (Configure.php), and it just wiped all the Demo stuff from it.
