Question about Paypal...

Ηι, I' m using Zen Cart 1.2.3 and i want to ask a few questions about Paypal module. There are some empty fields (Your Private Key, Your Public Certificate, PayPals Public Certificate, Your PayPal Public Certificate ID and Working Directory) and I do not know how to supplement. So far, I have not received any help from other sources to solve the problem. Furthermore, how do I know what module i'll choose?

Are you really using Zencart version 1.2.3 ?

Yes, I'm really using 1.2.3 version. I know is old......

The current Zencart version was 1.2.6 when I started here, so someone who has been here longer than I have will have to answer your question, but I don't think any of the configuration options you mentioned are used anymore.

I strongly recommend you recreate your store using version 1.5.0, for security reasons.

If your ZC version is indeed that old, I am surprised that it is running at all.

My suggestion is to make a full backup of your site (database and files) and then run a FULL upgrade to get it to at least ver 1.3.9h

There are many help posts and tutorials on how to do an upgrade.

(You would upgrade a COPY of the site, so you need to create this copy first).

Then, after the upgrade, you will need to do a lot of testing to see if the (upgraded) site still works. If you have add-ons, and a custom template, you may need to do some manual work on the template files and add-on files as well to bring them up to speed with 1.3.9.

It is quite a bit of work... But in truth, you MUST upgrade to at the very least, 1.3.9h.

Hi, i have already recreate my zc in version 1.5.0, but i have a problem. In admin area, i cannot set up paypal module. It displays the following message:
NOT CONFIGURED YET CURL NOT FOUND. Cannot Use.
How to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

cURL is a server setting, so you need to talk to your host.
