Does stock deduct when using PayPal

Hi

I am thinking very seriously about upgrading my website from another known open source software to Zen cart.

There is, however one issue that I need clarity on before I make any serious decision: Basically I am using Standard PayPal and also need stock to deduct when an order is placed to avoid any embarrassment.

My question is: Can I do this using PayPal Standard? Does anyone have any experience of this working. Please, please share your info with me.

Yes, zencart will reduce stock counts when using PayPal std, BUT if you do move to zencart (which in my opinion is the best eCommerce system available) I would strongly recommend that you use PayPal express instead, because this is a LOT more reliable.
