Taxing Shipping, Nothing Else :(

Hi, all,

Well, I'm brain dead, but I managed to upgrade my client's store from ver 1.3.9 to 1.5.0 without too many hiccups. The one thing I can't seem to fix, and it may just be because I've stared at this stuff for three days straight, is the taxing problem.

The only payment module we have installed is the PayPal IPN one. All of the tax zones, etc. seem to be correct. However, in the cart, tax is being applied to the shipping amount, not the total order amount. This is new, since the upgrade.

I'm assuming this has to be some setting somewhere, but darned if I can find it.

Help a frazzled girl out? Ideas on what to check?

And also all the details about every way in which your site is different from a fresh new uncustomized install. What exactly would I need to do to set up *my* store to reproduce exactly the same symptoms you're experiencing?
