Not able to send Gift Certificates...

I am using Zen Cart v1.3.9h. I have been working with it for a couple of months and haven't had any real problems. But I am trying to set up Gift Certificates for my client and I'm stumped. I've looked at a lot of posts. I followed the directions for creating a gift certificate category and product. I even caught what seems to be the usual error of the Product_model needing to start with GIFT. I have installed the gift certificate module as well.

However, I get no link in my shopping cart box to send a gift certificate, and if I add one to my cart it gives me no options to send it to any one.

What am I missing?

This site is still in test mode, but is supposed to launch soon and I need to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.

First, you buy the Gift Certificate and complete the order ...

Then, the Admin will release the GV to your account and you will receive an email that this has happened ...

Next, you can go to either My Account or to the GV FAQs and send all or a portion of your GV Balance to someone ...
