Payment Options not displaying

I posted this in another topic which I think is the wrong one.

Hello all,
I need your help ASAP please. I am new to Zen cart. My client wants to use Check/Money Order as well as the FirstData/linkpoint API, but no matter how many different Payment modules I enable, the count on the checkout page only ever returns one, the Check/Money Order. My admin section shows that the API is configured properly and enabled. Any ideas?

The modules which accept credit cards directly on your site will NOT activate if your site isn't using SSL to protect your customers' credit card data by encrypting it properly.
You will need an SSL certificate on your site if you intend to collect credit card payment directly on your site.
Once you've purchased one and had your hosting company install it, you can make the simple configuration adjustment to tell your store to make use of it: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=14

Thank you so much. I had done this but the closer I looked after you said something I realized that the file permissions on my webserver for the configure.php file were set to read only and I hadn't noticed that my ftp transfer failed. Once I fixed that it worked. Thanks again!
