Attribute was not added/Attribute Option and Option Value do not match

Found this thread from 2007 but it has been closed so can't continue in there!




I am getting same error. I don't know HOW I added this attribute which I can now not delete because when I go to edit it just has : and an empty vertical bar for option value and won't let me update removing file.

Have to say I have never asked a question in here and not received a reply. It is freaking me out a bit because now my store is live Just when I really need the support of the forum and advice I am not getting it. Please if someone doesn't understand my question or thinks my question doesn't make sense or is so obvious to them they don't feel it deserves a reply let me know! arghhh

Backup your database ...

Go to phpMyAdmin and search the products_attributes table for the products_id of this product
SELECT * FROM products_attributes WHERE products_id = XXX;

Write down the products_attributes_id where the options_values_id = 0

Next, delete the one where the options_values_id = 0 and delete it ...

Now, search the products_attributes_download for the products_attributes_id that equals the products_attributes_id that you wrote down and delete that.
