text not showing on define pages

Hope this is not a stupid question, I created a new page, on define pages status , and it can be found in the define pages editor , however text that is put in there cant be found, even though i can also see it on includes/ languagues / english/ html_includes/ my template/ my page.php

I renamed all my files as per this thread

Checked a bit on the internet and saw that if i go to cache I can see what may be wrong, and found it...

PHP Fatal error: require() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required '' (include_path='.;C:\php\pear')

thing is im totally clueless what to do next as i dont really have knowledge of php...

the line in question has require($define_page);

now i tried to put in the name of the page after define but that didnt work, also on the error it says i need to put a link, but weirdly when i made an about us page, it went through, i checked , define page was there as well but it didnt trip any alarms like my new page has, im confused.
