What are you using to unzip the file?
What is your internet connection speed?
What other computers or components are using your internet connection?
Are you browsing the WWW while the download is in operation?
The zipped file is quite large... but even a slow internet connection can handle it. If you are unable to unzip it on your local machine, then you will need to address issues on that machine. It is not really a zencart issue...
If you have a remote server set up, then I could get it installed on that server for you, if you give me a FTP account to the server...
