Selling Clearance Items

Hi all. I have spent hours playing with sideboxes through the Layout Boxes Controller and cannot figure out a way to do what I want.

Occasionally I have an odd item that I want to sell (maybe a custom made tool a customer did not accept). I would like to have a simple configurable box that I can turn on in the left column, enter a description and price of the tool, set a quantity available of 1, and possibly upload a photo. The box might have a heading like Clearance Items and would usually only have one listing but could have a few. It would not be visible all the time, only when I had a special to unload.

I am not a web programmer and it would not be economical to pay my web guy to program something every time I have a $50 item to sell. Is there a simple way through Admin for me to do this on the fly, sell the item, then remove the box as needed?

I would probably use one of the banner sideboxes for that, or the Blank Sidebox mod, depending on exactly how I wanted it to work.
