Stuck on custom css and template mod need help

I am working on my own custom template and so far not too bad...but I have run into a stumbling block...

in my product info page template I made a table to split the product information and the cart info & attributes info into 2 columns. I then moved the product image to the top of the second column and now I can't get it to center...

should I do that in the template or in css & with what code?

Screenshots are generally useless in solving styling issues, especially when a page has been customized. We need to see your site live to give correct advice. You should be able to fine-tune the layout in your stylesheet.
