I need to troubleshoot behavior for the error message display when the registration form is incomplete. On one of my sites it is working correctly and a pop up message shows: Errors have occurred during the processing of your form..... And the form does not refresh and data already entered is still filled. That is what I want.

On my other site, when filling out login registration, a message stack appears on top of the form. Also the form is reset. Very annoying for customers. Where do I start looking? Thought it was a CSS problem but do not get anywhere... Is this a JS problem? Thank you for your help.
