ZX Slideshow support thread

Ok and can I make each a different size or hold different images and if so how do I do this please!!

The simplest way of doing that would be to clone the module and use each clone for a page of your choice. Quite a lot of work and customization, thus beyond my level of forum support. Good luck.

Hello fellow zen cart users...I'm getting a error message TypeError: o is not a function on line 12 in the jquery.nivo.slider.pack file. When I tested this add on my local host it worked perfectly, but when I placed it on my live server it doesn't want to work. Currently I'm using site version v1.5.0p1 and my site is http://qualityautowi.com. Also I made sure all files uploaded properly and installed sql script. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You MUST remove all instances of EasySlider and it's javascript because it's conflicting with Nivo.

I did remove all the files, but the uninstall file failed in the admin sql section...this is what it says in that file DROP TABLE slideshow so how can I remove that table.

I'm not sure what you did, but I'm pretty sure you did NOT need to run any SQL patches or anything alike. You were supposed to remove the files (or code) that are used by EasySlider (I'm guessing it's located in includes/templates/all_business/common/html_header.php)
I can see the code is still there so you didn't remove it...

BTW, don't confuse EasySlider with ZX Slideshow...

I don't have easyslider installed I had frontpage slideshow installed before ZX Slideshow. I never added any code to the html_header. So I don't know what code to remove in this file as this is the default zen cart file.
