Generating e-Gift Certificate

Dear ZenCart users,

I have been thinking about this for a very long time, and wish to ask the question to the General Community.
I wish to generate an e-Gift Certificate. Unlike the electronic gift voucher which comes with Zencart and works quite well, I wish to generate a PDF File type of GVoucher, that is emailed to the customer - with all the right attributes to be able to be validated.
Some customers - just want something in their hand that has a bit of value to etc. This can be customised with the company logo etc.


When I say attributes - I mean - as simple as the Order Number - in the Serial code - that can be validate - when attending a real shop etc.
Anyone have any ideas - as to how - Zencart purchase - can generate the required PDF or similar file - for the customer to receive a Gift Crtificate in their email to print
