Add to cart generates a blank page

I'm part way through a new site and have a strange thing happening. When I click the add to cart button the site generates a blank page, looking at the page source shows nothing there as well. Clicking the back button on the browser takes me back to the product page which has the green product added bar on top and when I go to the cart the product has been added.

I am following the standard override system for the template. I find if I change back to classic green the site works ok. I have obviously done something. My first check was restoring the tpl_product_info_display.php but this didn't help.

Can anyone give me a clue to what file I may have corrupted.

Thanks for that handy hint, I'm going to give it a go.

I found the problem, it was caused by having an override directory in the languages folder with english.php. The system was reading this file but didn't like it there. I removed the override directory and the site went back to normal.

I've got the same problem again, it happens when you either try to add to the shopping cart, log in or goto the checkout. There may be some other places that I haven't found. The site was working ok until I added the Zen Lightbox utility.

It was a space at the end of the english.php file, it seems that was the problem all along. I was getting worried.

thanks for this post, I was scratching my head on this one!!

I had 2 blank lines at the end of english.php after the closing '?>', I removed them and all works fine, thanks again
