This is getting to be a bit like trying to extract a tooth.

Yes this problem occurs in 2 situations.

    1) I am uploading patches.
Uploading to where, and with what?

I wasn't aware than zen even creates files (of any kind). Please explain to this idiot what files it is supposed to be creating, and how is it doing it? surely you have to select an option somewhere for this to occur, which option? where is it located?

What do you mean by 'my front end' anyway? Are we still talking about zencart, or are we now back to phpmyadmin?

I suppose a screenshot couldn't hurt. It may even answer the question of what is 'it', BUT, I'm under the impression that you have a phpmyadmin import function problem (or was it an upload problem?. Two different things), and I'm also under the impression your also have another kind of problem with Zencart (the other 'it'? ), so somehow or other, 'a screenshot' won't be enough, we'll probably need a screenshot of each.

    Back to you.

Ok lets just talk about my Google Base Feed and Not SQL patches for now.

Uploading to where, and with what?
    >>Google Base Feeder

    What is "it"?
Having Google Base Feeder generate a Google Base Feed that I can upload

Front end of what? phpmyadmin, zencart admin, zencart store, front end of google?
    >>>Zencart Store. The Opposite of the Admin Side

I wasn't aware than zen even creates files (of any kind). Please explain to this idiot what files it is supposed to be creating, and how is it doing it? surely you have to select an option somewhere for this to occur, which option? where is it located?
    >>> The module Google Merchant Center generates a file that can be picked up by Google via a grab or you can upload it directly to Google Merchant Center.

Again, what is 'it'? Is it *supposed* to open a new window, or is that another symtom of your problem?
    >>>> See screen shot. It opens a new window to show the progress of the generated file. At first it looks like it is going to do it. Then my Store side goes in the window.

    Again, what is 'it'?
    >>>> Google Merchant Feed

Does 'it' tell you the file isn't created? How do you know it wasn't created in a place you are not looking?
Is 'it' supposed to be creating a file, or is 'it' supposed to be inserting something into the database?
    >> See screenshot. It does not tell me anything. The file generated is supposed to be listed at the bottom of the 1st screen.
I think the screen shots will really help you understand this.

It will be doing one or the other. It can't do both at the same time.
What do you mean by 'my front end' anyway? Are we still talking about zencart, or are we now back to phpmyadmin?
    >>> I am now just talking about the google merchant center. I think if I solve this problem it may solve the other.

Rod. Thank you so much for helping me. I am sorry if I was not clear enough.

That's a bit of a problem. I know lots about SQL, but nothing about the Google Base feed.

That doesn't mean I can't try to help though.

Firstly, would I be wrong in thinking that this is the module that you are using?
    http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=319

If it is, then I'm going to suggest that you could be wasting your time with it. The reason being is that although this was updated relatively recently (1st Apr 2012) the descriptions clearly indicate that this is suitable for ZenCart versions 1.3.9 and *below*.

Your screenshots show that you zencart is running V1.5.0 (which has a lot of changes, especially in regards to the admin functions), and the fact the the module has had this recent update, but there is no mention that the update had anything to do with V1.5.0 compatibilty I think it would be fair to assume that it *isn't* compatible.

This would certainly explain a few things, such as the 'blank page', which is quite typical of a security related error, and the abilty for the module to create files.

Other than this observation and the assumptions I've derived from it, I really don't think i can help you.

Sorry about that. Perhaps someone else would care to step in with their ideas/views (none of what I have asked you has been wasted, your responses probably contain the clues they need too).

    Cheers
    Rod

I think it may have to do with my Config Files.

Why would it go to the home page...

    Things has got me baffled.

Neither would be at the top of my list of suspects, well DEFINITELY NOT the config files, because if they were ay fault in any way you'd be having much more serious issues than those you are describing.

Permissions would be more likely (but again, if this were the case I'd be expecting other aspects of the cart (such as adding new products) to exhibit similar problems.

You never did answer my question as to whether the module you are using is the same one as the link I provided. If it is, then your problem is that this module isn't compatible with your V1.5 installation. No need to look any further.

The entire problem was that I used Ultimate SEO Urls

It really messed my system up. I was told to use the one by Ceon instead.

    Glad that is done now.
